How to prepare a custom ladder RFQ

A strong RFQ does not need to be complicated, but it does need to be specific. The most useful inputs are target height, installation base, width expectations, material, finish, quantity, and site photos or sketches.

If the project is in Malaysia, it also helps to mention whether the environment is inland, coastal, wet-process, or rooftop exposed. That changes the finish recommendation immediately.

The goal is not to prepare a perfect engineering package on day one. The goal is to give enough information for a supplier to respond with relevant questions and a realistic quote path.
